Description

Reporting to the Vice-President Operations, the Senior Production Scheduler is responsible for developing the daily production plan to ensure customers sales orders are produced in time.
PRIMARY PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES:
-Create a rolling weekly Production Plan for designated product lines.
-Perform supply demand analysis each month, highlighting areas of concern.
-Coordinate with planning team, customer service and production staff to execute Production Plan -Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan.
-Support the Sales & Operations process meetings
-Update Master Production Plan daily, or as required.
-Lead the data entry individuals to ensure ERP system is up to date daily with production figures reporting, timely files closure and that ingredients are charged out.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCES: (essential to the position)
Education Level: (minimum)
BA/BS degree
Preferred Areas of Study:
Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operation Research
-Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency measurements
-Experience using MPS, MRP / ERP systems, especially Advance Planning Systems
-5 years in Master Scheduling.
-Sound knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning/scheduling, demand, and replenishment processes.
-Strong negotiation skills with the ability to reason and influence at all levels.
-Strong communication and presentation skills.
-Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
-Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities.
