JOB SUMMARY
The Solutions Architect will have a broad based background of technical experience to be part of our Solutions team.  The position will lead solution design and assume a technical leadership role as part of the core team on PDO projects.  They will actively contribute to the Solution Review Board and continued improvement of our solution practice

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES
Acting as a representative for Information Systems on projects
Designing solutions in alignment with enterprise strategies and focused on business outcomes
Participating in the Solutions Review Board and peer review
Developing non-functional and technical specifications for software RFP documents
Ensuring solutions are successfully delivered into operations
Effectively communicating technical concepts to the business and the project teams
Providing assistance and mentorship as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 10 years experience of varying IT experience, with a broad and general understanding of technology and IT solutions trends in the industry
Excellent client service skills
Strong time management skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certification with TOGAF and experience with agile project management methodologies (RUP preferred) are an asset
