The Tisdale Recorder/Parkland Review has an opening for a full-time regional reporter in north-east Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task numerous duties while helping to produce quality newspapers under tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will have a journalism degree or diploma, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Organizing and assigning community oriented editorial content for the weekly editions as well as for special sections and other projects as required.
-Directing and participating in the layout of the print edition.
-Maintaining workflow to ensure adherence to deadlines and high quality editorial content.
-Attend special functions and connect with members of the community.
A reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license are necessary.
