Description

The Area Manager will be responsible to lead operational activities, coordinate workforce and equipment requirements, and capitalize on regional business opportunities. The ideal incumbent will exhibit strong leadership skills with an ability to lead an established team to achieve organizational objectives. In addition he/she must possess strong project management skills.
The duties include but are not limited to;
         Own and manage financial information pertaining to the assigned area
         Forecast workforce and equipment requirements for assigned service lines
         Responsible to maximize the utilization of equipment, land, and buildings
         Some travel to other URS locations is required

Job Requirements  

         10 years senior level management experience in Facility Construction and Pipeline
         Experience must consist of operations, leadership and financial management
         University degree in engineering, business or other related field is considered an asset. Technical school diploma in construction management or other relevant construction trade may be considered.
         Proven leadership skills with a demonstrated track-record of building high performance teams
         Knowledge of financial management processes including financial reporting requirements and budgeting processes
         Strong interpersonal and communication skills
