Reporting to the Regional Human Resource Manager, Strand Based Business, the Training Coordinator responsible for assisting our organization in implementing and administering activities which are reflective of the company values and enable effective and efficient management of training programs.
The Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and/or delivering all site related training to ensure timely training programs and initiatives to meet and/or exceed our business objectives.
Main Job Duties: Coordinate and conduct training programs, Conduct research to determine efficiencies and effectiveness of policies and programs, Conduct assessments and propose improvements to methods, systems and procedures in areas such as operations, health & safety, records management and communications, Conduct quality audits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Required: Completion of a two year diploma or four year degree in a related program. Post-secondary education in the field of Occupational Health & Safety would be considered an asset.
Relevant Work Experience Required: 3-5 years experience. Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Experience in the development, organization, delivery and evaluation of training. Experience in the wood products industry preferred.
