The Thorpe Recovery Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing client centered and community based addiction services. Our mandate is to provide the best quality service we can to assist those who are concerned about their own or someone else's addictive disorder. We offer Medical Detox, Residential Programs, Sexual Addiction Services, Family Program, Interventions and After Care programs through an integrated continuum of care.
An opportunity exists for an experienced health professional to model the Philosophy and Policies of the Thorpe Recovery Centre in the capacity of Clinical Director.
The Clinical Director is accountable for the organization, development/expansion and management of the Clinical Services including programming, personnel, therapy modalities, productivity and quality of client care. The Clinical Director plans for Client care services within the organization according to strategic objectives and priorities and for leading initiatives to raise awareness of our program within the community. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.
A partial list of the duties and responsibilities includes:
Oversee on-going development of Residential and Family programming
Assists agency staff members through individual/group conferences in analyzing client care problems and in improving their diagnostic skills
Reviews case records, evaluates performance of staff members, and recommends indicated action
Assist agency in the development of staff competencies
Works with Program Managers and staff to develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate residential programs and educational activities.
Provides direction to staff in areas such as new policies, procedures, regulations and new therapeutic modalities.
Represents agency in community or in interagency activities
Acts as the Accreditation Coordinator
