Position and Scope
Envirotecs Chemical Technician is directly responsible for the classification, packaging and assisting with the transportation of dangerous goods. Technicians travel to customer sites throughout the province of Saskatchewan for hazardous materials related project. Some overnight travel will be required for this position (approximately 1-2 nights per week).  

Key Accountabilities of the position include:
1. Identification and classification of hazardous waste, proper packaging and documentation in accordance with Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, and all other pertinent regulations.

2. Assisting customer service reps with planning the collection of the hazardous materials, or transporting these materials directly to Envirotecs Hazardous Waste Facility.

3. Assisting at Envirotecs Hazardous Waste Facility with the handling, and either treatment or bulking of the above mentioned materials.

4. Diligent completion of all associated safety, service and transport documentation as required by Envirotec as well as regulatory bodies governing the Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
