CLAUDE RESOURCES INC. is a Saskatchewan-based gold producer, engaged in the production, exploration and development of gold mineral reserves and mineral resources.   Claude's entire asset base is located in Canada, with its principal assets being the Seabee gold operation located 125 kilometers northeast of La Ronge, SK. We are currently seeking an Environment Superintendent at our Seabee Mine Site.

Reporting to the Safety, Health and Environment Manager this position will ensure that Claude Resources operates within the environmental boundaries established by applicable regulation and Company policy. The primary role of the incumbent will be to provide leadership and technical support to operations to help Claude achieve improvements in our environmental performance. Coaching and training of the environment team as well as other related departments will be required.  

The successful candidate will have a BSC in an environmental or chemical scientific discipline and advanced technical degree is desired.  Candidates must have a minimum of 5-10 years of related experience with a minimum of three years in an operating/project environment with supervisory responsibilities.  Superior attention to detail and persistence in resolving issues and discrepancies is a must.  Well developed organizational and administrative skills are essential.  Project management skills and experience are preferred, as is excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. This position is based at our Seabee Mine Site and work a Mon  Thursday schedule.
