Dumont Technical Institute, a division within the Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:

    
FACULTY II   GED Full-time (4 month term)

Responsibilities:    Responsibilities will include delivery of instructional materials and program supervision of adult students in preparation to write the GED examination. Focus on Language Arts, writing & reading, Social Studies, Science & Mathematics. Duties include preparation of lesson plans, evaluation of student performance and provision of student support.

Qualifications:        The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Education degree and              experience working with adult learners.  Knowledge of adult education principles would be an asset. Good interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility and the ability to work with people from various equity groups are required.

Location:        La Loche, Saskatchewan
Term:            September 29, 2014 to January 30, 2015
