Brandt is continuing to grow and expand our business and we are looking for hard-working, creative individuals to join our Team. We are currently seeking a Service Writer for our Engineering Products Division.
Duties/Responsibilities:
-Work closely with field technicians to ensure efficient information is provided on the work orders.
-Answer service phone calls, arrange organizational development, filing and organizing office equipment.
-Open, maintain and close work orders in a timely manner.
-Work closely with the parts department to ensure the correct segments were opened for each work order.
-Tracking and maintaining time for technicians and ensuring it matches the work orders.
-Tracking the timely completion of service requests.
-Monitor Product Improvement Plans, IPs and Service bulletins.
-Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure organization of paperwork in the Service Department and develop role as the Service Manager sees fit.
Qualifications/Requirements:
-Ability to prioritize work and enjoy the challenge of working in a fast pace environment.
-Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
-Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
-Must be a team player that is also self-motivated
-Detail oriented and organizational skills are key requirements
Previous experience in a Service department setting or dealership environment is considered an asset.
