QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Business Administration or related field in combination of a minimum of 5 years of work specific experience;
- Possess significant knowledge of legislation in the following areas (Indian Act, Canadian Environment Assessment Act, Canadian Environment Protection Act, National Housing Act, Power Corporations Act, National Water Safety Act, National Building Code, Canada Labor Code, National Fire Code, Emergency Preparedness Act, Canada Drinking water standards, Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, Sask power regulations and other federal and provincial legislation, regulations and acts to carry out administrative procedures to ensure compliance that facilities are constructed or maintained to codes and standards to reduce liability to the CTK First Nation and other relevant band legislation governing program areas, policies, regulations and procedures);
- Possess knowledge and working experience of financial management and terms and conditions of funding arrangements;
- Possess knowledge and work experience in either engineering, architectural fields , construction and maintenance and DIANDS capital management process & policies;
- Strong planning, organizing and monitoring skills;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Strong team work and cooperation skills;
- Strong initiative and stress management skills;
- Strong conflict management skills;
- Possess knowledge and work experience with computers, i.e., office software applications (Excel and Word/MS Office);
- Possess knowledge of First Nation programs and several funding agencies;
- Possess good understanding of First Nation cultures, traditions, roles and responsibilities of Chief and Council and work well with Chief, Council, Band Staff and community;
- Possess Valid Driver's License;
- Must pass a current Criminal Record Check.
