POS Bio-Sciences is a confidential contract research organization that assists clients with process and product development. We are devoted to helping our clients fast track the development of superior new products and technologies using cost effective methods. We specialize in extraction, fractionation, purification and modification of biologically derived materials.

Our Lab Services are currently looking for new team members to provide support to the R&D and/or Analytical areas. As a vital part of our Lab Services team, some of the responsible may include:
Assist in the development and implementation of laboratory scale processes
Conduct a variety of routine lab analysis, including moisture, oil content, antioxidants, proteins and sugars
Operate, maintain and calibrate various laboratory equipment including troubleshooting
Assist in development of new SOPs and methods, as well as method validation
Accurate record keeping, ensuring documentation and data for reports is made in timely fashion
We are committed to developing the success of our team members and are looking for Junior and Senior Technicians. The ideal candidates will have a professional attitude and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Being self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while always delivering excellent service, is essential. Other requirements include:
Chemical Technology or Biological Sciences diploma or related degree
Experience with GLC, GC/MS, ICP-OES and/or HPLC would be an asset
Prior experience with GLP and GMP techniques as well as Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) would be an asset.
