Potential locations include Prince Albert, Humboldt or Tisdale - determined based on the successful applicants' preference.
Plan, coordinate and deliver program information; adapt to changing work requirements based on deadlines; develop and present educational materials to SCIC customers and stakeholders; provide subject matter expertise, advice and guidance to internal and external customers on program issues, options and requirements; assist customers with resolving technical program issues and complaints.
Contact with representatives of industry, special interest groups and the public to anticipate evolving requirements; facilitate public and stakeholder meetings; represent SCIC at commodity/producer organization events.
Qualifications include:
Diploma in the field of Agriculture and/or Business with a minimum of three years of combined experience.
Sound knowledge of agriculture, farm tax and accounting principles, and the AgriStability program.
Strong public speaking, communication, interpersonal and public relations skills.
Understanding of adult learning methods.
Excellent written communication skills.
Customer focused with the ability to relate and appeal to the farming community.
Computer skills.
Preference will be given to those with extensive knowledge of SCIC programs.

Should the successful candidate participate in the Crop Insurance or AgriStability Programs, their account must be in good standing.
The successful candidate will be subject to an acceptable criminal record check and must possess a valid drivers license.
