Relay Distributing, established in 1989, is a fast paced growing business and we are looking for dynamic people to grow with us. Now for a bit about our teamThe assistant manager, Jennifer, is an expert handler; she will be your go-to person and have the answers and guidance that you need. She is our rock. Glenn, the owner, has a story for everything, understands the value of family time and having weekends off. The rest of the Relay group is a Motley crew that enjoys their time at work and believes that customer service is their first priority.
Duties:
    Service existing accounts; set and maintain customer stock levels through regular inventory checks, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts. Planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
    Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.  Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
    Maintain up-to-date customer profiles on current accounts (Customer Account Record) and prospective customers (Contact History Form)
    Report to management by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.  
    Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
    Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. Provide customer training and product demonstration.
    Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
    Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
