Description

The successful applicant will have a strong and passionate understanding of fashion, a knack for styling, an understanding of current fashion trends and the ability to present complete looks to your fashion-conscious clientele.
Responsibilities to include:
* Ensuring the team delivers exceptional guest services through selling interactions, merchandise replenishment and presentation standards.
* Implementing and executing sales and gross profit growth strategies.
* Meeting or exceeding sales expectations, pricing and margin targets, consistently providing accurate forecasts
* Operating business profitably while minimizing potential for loss.
* Developing and adhering to a budget
* Monitoring and analyzing business results and make necessary adjustments
* Departmental marketing and product merchandising.
* Forging and building vendor relationships.
* Procurement of product and planning product cycles.
* Participating in the recruitment and selection of new associates
* Coaching and developing your department team
The successful applicant must have a proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will have retail management experience as well as experience with buying and/or strategic planning in a retail environment.
Qualifications would include:
- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude including retail math
- Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities or vendor management experience
- Proactive attitude, detail oriented, and a team player
- Hands-on leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organization and follow-up skills
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
- Physical requirements: lift /carry/move 40 lbs minimum including fixtures and product
