FINANCIAL ANALYST (Contract)

Are you looking to make that next step in your career to work with a large volume producer in the Oil & Gas Energy Sector that will enhance your current resume for the next level?

This 8 month (potential to be extended) position will have you providing financial reporting, budgeting, analytical and forecasting support to the District Management team.

Some of your more specific responsibilities will be:

Compiling and interpreting monthly financial data
Preparing and monitoring monthly financial reports, investigations and preparation for sign-off documents
Preparation of annual operating and sustaining capital budgets
Quarterly operating cost forecasts
Compiling, preparation and delivering responses and presentations to district management team

What are the qualifications to be considered for this role:

Comfortable with taking a 8 month placement
Post-secondary education in accounting from a recognized educational institution
Minimum 3 years petroleum experience is considered an asset or relevant experience
Strong knowledge set in oil and gas accounting
Knowledge base of working with integrated management information systems, with preference given to those with SAP
Strong proficiency with spread sheeting specifically MS Excel
Strong analytical skills
Excellent business writing and oral communication skills
