The Health & CFS IT Support Technician assists and supports the local IT needs of Meadow Lake Tribal Council Health and Child and Family Services departments; the Network needs of MLFN Health and CFS departments including system/application support, network infrastructure and information security management (LAN and WAN); Network/Application server configuration/management; E-health; and Aboriginal Information System (AIS) network infrastructure/integration and security; Plans, implements, and reviews the goals and objectives and strategies for all assigned Projects.
Required Education, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
- The incumbent requires a computer technologist diploma or a relevant industry certification as well as a minimum 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in the areas of network administration and research.
- Experience with MS Windows Server and Cisco Systems would be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and/or experience with working in a First Nations organization are desirable.
