Wascana Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (WRGC) is located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. We are looking to re-enter the National Rhythmic Gymnastics program and require a coach who is willing to work with both high level and recreational athletes. WRGC is a smaller club located in the heart of our city and is a perfect coaching opportunity for someone wanting to coach in a low- stress environment with a group of very talented young athletes. We are proud of the sense of community which our families bring to the club and we look forward to expanding our existing program. Qualifications:
A minimum Level 2 Professional Rhythmic Coaching Qualification with a minimum 3 - 5 years national coaching experience or equivalent. A documented track record of achievements and coaching is an asset. (NCCP and/or FIG Certification)
Skills and Experience:
Must be able to communicate in English (speak, read, write); sound planning and organizing; good interpersonal skills; teamwork; continuous learning in RG discipline is needed
Familiarity with current Rhythmic Gymnastics Code of Points
Minimum two years of recent coaching experience that includes choreography, scripting and supervision of Junior Coaches at a provincial stream competitive level
Provincial / National Judging Level would be an asset
A good understanding of the basic body and apparatus elements of Rhythmic Gymnastics
Other:
Willingness to relocate to Regina, Saskatchewan
Must have a drivers license
Copy of criminal record check will be required
Salary: $30,000 - $40,000 annually
