Description

The Regina Branch requires a Full Time Temporary Program Coordinator.

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, or his/her designate, the Program Coordinator Residential homes will assist in the development, modification, and evaluation of the residential program including administrative duties

Provide stabilization crisis counseling.

Qualifications:

Degree in Social Work or equivalent Post Secondary Education.
Some Post Secondary Education or 1-2 years previous work experience in human services.

An understanding and commitment to the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the John Howard Society.
Familiarity with the problems and characteristics of disadvantaged persons.
Familiarity with a variety of counseling techniques.
A working knowledge and experience working in a residential facility for at risk youth an asset.
A valid drivers license and abstract.
First AID and CPR C.
Criminal records check/vulnerable persons check
Ministry Child Welfare Check
Suicide Intervention training (training provided)
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (training provided)
Must be able to work shifts specifically evenings, weekends and nights.
