ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The City of Prince Albert has an opportunity available for a committed, impassioned individual, who enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.  The incumbent will be accountable for the implementation of the City of Prince Albert Economic Development Strategic Plan, branding and marketing strategy, and the business license program.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
    Work collaboratively with partners, stakeholder groups, and business community to support labour force attraction, skills development, business retention, expansion, and new investment opportunities.
    Ensure the Community Profile, Economic Profile and the annual business plan are current and align with the priorities of City Council, and the objectives of the Economic Development Strategic Plan.

Qualifications Include:
    Diploma or Degree in a related discipline.  Consideration will be given to equivalent combination of education, experience and/or accreditation.
    A proven track record in community economic development including experience in a municipal management and/or entrepreneurial business setting, demonstrated by a solid record of accomplishment and experience.
