Manager Asset Liability Management

Reporting to the Vice President Life Investments, the Manager, Asset Liability Management (also called ALM) will primarily be responsible to service the organization's insurance clients by monitoring, analyzing and reporting on the assets and liabilities. The successful candidate would also be responsible for working with Asset managers to find effective solutions within given investment constraints and targets. The Manager will also need to produce internal and external ALM reports and co-ordinate the information flow among ALM participants. She/he will utilize the organization's proprietary portfolio optimization and liability tools and be in charge of representing Addenda Capital in working with the various line management teams of the insurance clients.

The successful Manager, Asset Liability Management will have a university degree and a minimum of 3 to 5 years ALM or investment management experience within a pension manager or insurance company. This individual will need to be an effective communicator with the ability to prioritize and multi-task. She/he will possess a University Degree in Finance, Business or Economics along with completion of the CFA program or expectation to complete the CFA program within the first 3 years of employment. A professional accounting or actuarial science designation would be an asset. Fluency in French would also be considered an asset.
