South East Eyecare Ltd. is seeking a reliable, self-motivated individual to join our busy optometric practice and dispensary as a dispenser/contact lens assistant.
The job will predominately involve optical dispensing and also reception. You will be responsible for duties such as contact lens fitting and instruction and assisting patients with frame selection and glasses sales. In addition you will also be responsible to book appointments, take payments and issue receipts as well as other general office duties. You will be working closely with other staff members to ensure patient care.
You must possess a willingness to learn additional duties and be able to work in a fast paced environment. You must possess the ability to work with the public in a courteous and professional manner. Education: Grade 12 or post-secondary
Experience: Optometric and/or experience with glasses sales and contact lenses preferred or the ability and interest to learn
