Description

Who we are
The Rural Municipality of Wilton consists of 1,042.31 square kilometers and a population of 1564 residents.   Located within the RM of Wilton are the Towns of Lashburn and Marshall and the Hamlet of Lone Rock.  The boundaries extend east to the RM of Eldon border, west to the Saskatchewan Alberta border, north tot he RM of Britannia border and south to the RM of Manitou Lake border.  Oil and agriculture are the major industries in the RM of Wilton.  More than 1626 oil wells exist on some of the richest farmland in Western Canada.  

Highlights:
    April   November
    Approximately 600 miles of road
    10 hour days Monday  Friday (occasional weekend if rain delays experienced)
    A job that has you home every evening
    170 pieces of Iron, 60 mobile units
    Great for students

We need someone to:
Maintain safe vehicle flow at various construction sites warning of approaching hazards
Maintain high level of communication amongst the construction crew and flagging team
Assist with setup and maintenance of project signage and barricades
Deal with the public in a professional manner
Contribute to the construction team by performing various labor related tasks when assigned
Complete all necessary paperwork to standard and deadline
Adhere to established safe work practices and policies

You should have:
Previous experience an asset but not required (training provided)
Valid Traffic Control certificate an asset but not required
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Valid Class 5 license and reliable transportation
Ability to take control and give firm clear directions
Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and other related product(s)
Ability to communicate effectively and possess a positive attitude
