Fund Developer/Fundraiser
Junior Achievement of Saskatchewan (JA)
(Part Time) Contractor
JA Regina is seeking a part time contracted fundraiser/fund developer.
The contractor, in consultation with the JA Resource Development team is responsible for:
    Raising public awareness of and educating prospective donors on the work of JA, including goals and financial needs
    Engaging and soliciting donors/donations from: corporations, businesses, and individuals
    Fund development including taking on all aspects of developing and carrying out fundraising plans for Regina region
    Securing and handling funding relationships including plans and timelines in consultation with the Provincial JA management team
Qualifications/Skills/Experience required:
    Several years of a proven track record in hands on fundraising
    Demonstrated experience in all areas of fundraising including Corporate, Foundation, Community and Special Events
    Highly developed writing and research skills
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Excellent leadership and organizational skills
    Be independent self-directed individual
    Current Criminal Record Check
Qualifications desired:
    Adhere to the Standards of Ethical Practice developed by the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy
    Knowledge of and understanding of the education system
    Flexible Scheduling
The ideal candidate should have a passion for the education of youth in the areas of entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and workforce readiness.
Must use own vehicle and have current drivers license with clean driving record.
