Description

Weyburn Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and results oriented financial service professional to lead our Wealth Management Support department. This newly created position will report directly to the VP of Wealth Management and would manage and develop a team responsible for the efficient delivery of support services to the investment advisors within the department.

The successful candidate will be responsible to achieve operational efficiencies while ensuring internal controls and risk management strategies are developed and adhered to. The position is accountable for managing, developing, and implementing operational and support strategies to help the department and the organization achieve its long term strategic objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 with a minimum of 4-6 years of related financial service experience, preferably in the investment area.
- A mutual funds license is a requirement; however, if the successful candidate does not have a mutual fund license on the hire date, they must be willing to obtain the license within a six month time frame.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, develop, mentor, and motivate a team of administrative support professionals.
- Demonstrate strong skills in problem solving and decision making.
- Proven track record of developing strong internal and external relationships, both individually and in a team environment.
- Proven ability to provide high quality service in a demanding and extremely competitive environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning.
