Cudworth Pork Investors Group (CPIG) is seeking a Breeding Technician for employment in a 1200 sow farrow-to-finish hog operation producing high quality breeding stock for a leading swine breeding company.  

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- All aspects of breeding herd care,
- Heat detection and breeding of gilts and sows,
- Detection and treatment of health problems,
- Selection and movement of hogs of various sizes,
- Monitoring and setting waterlines, air flow, and temperature in rooms and pens,
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for the animals

- Are eligible to work in Canada.  We do not have a LMO.
- Are a motivated individual;
- Enjoy working in a team environment;
- Are hard working and are physically competent;
- Have good communication skills.
- Basic farm knowledge is an asset
- Experience is an asset, but not necessary for those willing to learn.

This part-time position is for 48 hours/2 week period. Every Friday & Monday, and every second Saturday and Sunday. Work hours are 7am - 3:30pm.
