Job Description:
Responsibilities will include quality inspection of outside plant including fiber placement and splicing. Creating take offs from customer construction drawings, completing asbuilts from construction drawings. QA fiber test results. Assisting subcontractors when require for project completing. Communication with our AFL team and customer with schedule updates.
Skills Required:
Management/Supervisory skills.
Computer skills, CAD, Adobe, Excel, MS Word, MS Project.
Drafting skills.
Familiar with fiber FTTH design practices.
Familiar with fiber test equipment and ability to operate OTDR, power meter and ruby light.
Knowledge of telecom, outside plant construction practices.
Familiar with reading and understanding plant maps.
Minimum 5 years OSP experience
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
