Strata Development Corporation (Strata) is currently looking to recruit experienced framers and carpenters to work with our team.  We are an energetic and growing company that works primarily in the commercial and residential construction industry in Saskatoon.  We have an exciting and challenging multifamily project in North Battleford, and we are looking to add some personnel to our excellent team.  

Duties:
    Carry out Multifamily framing requirements based on blue prints and specifications.
    Layout and framing assembly to local building codes, including engineered OWWJ floor and, pre-fab truss systems.
    Installation of windows and doors, both commercial and residential.
    Load, unload, transport material
    Build and erect walls
    Build floor beams and sub flooring
    Determine specifications and calculate requirements
    Install doors and hardware

Requirements:
    Must have own hand tools
    Must be able to read and understand construction plans
    Good communication skills and ability to work alone and as part of a team
    Must work well under pressure
    Must have proven ability to complete projects on or before deadline
    Ability to ensure quality and safety of all work performed
    First Aid certification is definitely an asset
    Good physical health
    Preference will be given to those who are willing to travel
    Valid Class 5 Drivers License
    Experience in framing and general construction-based project environment
    Minimum 5 years experience
    Equipment operators tickets an asset

Compensation:
     Contract- hourly rate depending on experience and qualifications.
