Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Commercial Estimator/Project Coordinator is part of a team of sales professionals who are responsible for building and maintaining sustainable relationships with our customers; primarily general contractors. He/she meets with clients, prepares quotes and estimates, orders product for in-time delivery, and provides project management. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for continued growth and job task variety. As well the Commercial Estimator/Project Coordinator is responsible to manage contracts for ongoing and future dated commercial projects. He/she provides customer service, contract negotiation, document control and contract administration support to the Commercial Sales team
Applicants shall meet the following requirements:
5+ years experience in technical sales, project management or related field
Possesses knowledge of industrial industries in Saskatchewan.
Familiar with industrial site requirements, compliance, and regulations
Technical aptitude (i.e. ability to read blueprints, general construction knowledge) is an asset
Excellent project management, organization, verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills
Good computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office suite
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, etc.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, strong organization and decision making ability
Good negotiation skills and persuasive ability
