JOB SUMMARY:
The employee in this classification is responsible to preform general clerical support duties including the preparation of correspondence, reports, statements and other material. This position is also responsible to operate office equipment, answer telephones, verify records and process forms and documents such as contracts and requisitions and perform general clerical duties according to established procedures.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Prepare and summarize correspondence, reports, statements, forms, presentations, applications and other documents
Respond to telephone, in person or electronic enquiries and forward to appropriate personnel as required
Provide general information to staff, clients and the public regarding company, departmental or program rules, regulations and procedures
Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing
Sort and file documents according to established filing systems, locate and retrieve documents from files as requested and maintain records of filed and removed materials
Maintain and prepare reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists and databases
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Bachelors Degree, Diploma, Certificate or Program in a related field, or equivalent AND/OR;
Two years of administrative or clerical office experience, or equivalent
Aptitude for accuracy and detail
Ability to implement and make sound decisions
Ability to use standard corporate software applications
