FCL invites applications for the position of Learning Facilitator in our Home Office located in Saskatoon, SK. Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, responsibilities for this position include:
1. Facilitate learning and development seminars for employees, managers, and elected officials throughout the CRS.
2. Research, develop and design seminars aimed at developing critical people skills and core competencies for all levels of employees within the CRS.
3. Revise existing seminars to ensure seminars are culturally relevant while ensuring the media used to present the content is current.
4. Co-ordinate and manage the registration process for seminars, including appropriate follow up where necessary.
5. Extensive travel throughout Western Canada is required.
Qualifications:
1. Undergraduate degree in a business related discipline with a major in Human Resources or a related discipline coupled with adult learning experience, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
2. 1-2 years corporate or organization facilitation experience.
3. Strong understanding of adult learning theory is required.
4. Experience in a customer service environment is required.
5. Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and facilitation skills.
6. Must be self directed with the ability to work effectively and professionally as part of a team.
7. Preference will be given to candidates with a co-op background and/or supervisory experience.
8. HR experience and CHRP designation considered an asset.
