Great Plains College is looking for a Continuing Care Assistant Instructor for the following; DEMC184 (Dementia Family Care), HUMD187 (Human Growth and Development), NUTR198 (Nutrition), SPCR102 (End of Life Care), SPCR103 (Assisting with Special Procedures), SPCR284 (Special Needs 1)SPCR184 (Post-Acute Care)

Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Nursing or a directly related field
Eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association
Minimum two years recent and relevant clinical or teaching experience desirable in  medical/surgical and long term care

Skills
Effective interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal and presentation
Proven organizational Skills
Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Understanding of the principles of adult education

Term Position  209 hours
Start Date:  September 12, 2014
End Date:  March 16, 2015
