Position Description
- First contact with developers from outside the community for site visits and statistics.
- Identifying and promoting new business and or industrial opportunities.
- Investigating and assisting with grant programs.
- Answering incoming calls for statistical information from within and outside the Town of Shaunavon.
- Preparing and submitting reports as required.
- Advising Council on matters related to development.
- Assisting with the budgeting process.
- Director of Development will report to the Chief Administrative Officer.

Qualifications
Post-Secondary Education in Economic Development, Human Geography, Commerce,
Business Administration or other related program area, or (1) year directly related experience.
