Prairie Plant Systems, a leader in plant based technologies, is seeking a self-driven individual to join the maintenance team in a permanent part-time position. As the Company continues to grow at an exponential pace, the maintenance helper will help in the making of soil, general shop maintenance, yard duties. The ideal candidate will have general maintenance experience with general knowledge of Boiler and HVAC systems.
Primary Responsibilities
Make soil for various divisions and update the schedule
Keep track of raw materials inventory and liaise with purchaser for stock
General shop maintenance, administration building maintenance
Yard duties including clean-up and landscaping
Qualifications
High School Diploma
General HVAC knowledge will be considered an asset
Basic computer skills-excel data entry etc.
The company intends to fully train the right people to fill these positions and is seeking individuals who possess a strong desire to learn and want be a part of a dynamic growing organization.
Preference will be given to applicants who hold post-secondary education in a related field. This position requires some manual labor so the incumbent must be physically fit and should be free from allergies or respiratory related diseases.
Salary will be based on skill levels and education. PPS offers a comprehensive benefits package. Incumbents will be required to pass a Government of Canada Security check, a criminal record check, a pre-employment drug test, and must hold Canadian Citizenship or Landed Immigrant Status.
