Description

Weyburn Group Home Society Inc. is seeking an Executive Director.  The Executive Director is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors.

Job duties include, but not limited to:
-Overseeing and monitoring the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the organization, including planning, implementation and evaluation of the organization's programs and services.
-Human resources planning and management which will include staffing, policies & procedures, new hire orientation, performance management process, as well as staff disciplinary action.
-Working with staff and the Board to prepare a comprehensive budget.
-Reporting financials to the appropriate government funding agencies.
-Community relations and advocacy.
-Identify and evaluate the risks to individuals involved with the organization, property, finances, goodwill and image and implement measures to control risks.
-Ensure that policies and procedures for the entire organization are created, followed, and updated when required.
-Some administrative duties.

Qualifications:
-University degree in a Human Services field and/or a combination of education and experience may be considered.
-Knowledge of human resource management.
-Knowledge of non-profit structure.
-Proficient in the use of computers.
-Time-management, organizational and communication skills are essential.
-Must be able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve organizational success.
