**This is a full-time, temporary position to cover a maternity leave.**
Richmond Nychuk is currently seeking an experienced legal assistant to join our team. The qualified candidate will demonstrate the ability to monitor paper flow and ensure proper handling and processing of all documents; maintain and coordinate lawyer's schedule; prepare various correspondence such as court documents, file notes, letters to clients with use of dictation; and other general office duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
Requirements:
- Professional and trustworthy.
- Motivated, able to work and thrive in a fast paced, deadline and often pressured work environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Able to work independently; self-starter with a sense of accountability.
The qualified candidate will have 1+ year of legal experience in the area of criminal law. You must be extremely well organized and detail oriented to be successful in this position.
