Job Coach- Yorkton Industrial Career Centre

The main goal of YICC is to connect participants to jobs and careers in the construction and industrial trades. SIIT is seeking a qualified individual for as a Job Coach.
Duties:
Take a lead role in participant assessment, evaluation and management.
    Develop and maintain a close connection with potential employers in the Yorkton area.
Develop and maintain a close connection with project participants and assist in their development as construction/industrial trades workers.
    Work with employees and employers to bridge employment barriers.
Qualifications:
Journeyperson certification in a construction trade is preferred. Consideration will be made for applicants with related technical post-secondary certification plus extensive work experience in the construction industry.
Good knowledge of the Yorkton and region construction industry.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.
Good working knowledge of office procedures and Microsoft Office.
The ability to work independently within a team environment.
Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.
Knowledge of a First Nations language or culture is an asset.
