Sunrise Health Region has an opening for a
Temporary (September 2, 2014 to September 1, 2015) Job Share Physical Therapist Degree Senior
with Physiotherapy at St. Peters Hospital in Melville, SK

Job Summary:
The Physiotherapist is responsible for the effective and efficient management and operation of the Physiotherapy department consistent with the mission, vision, values, policies and procedures of St. Peters Hospital and the Sunrise Health Region.  The Physical Therapist Degree is directly accountable to the Manager of St. Peters Hospital and the Director of Health Services South.  Has direct authority with respect to all personnel working in the department.  Incumbents will be required to assist with the orientation of new employees.  The Physical Therapist Degree is a member of the health care team and works closely with all of the disciplines including physicians and nursing managers.

Qualifications:
    Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists
    Registered or eligible for registration with the Canadian Physiotherapy College of Physical Therapists
    Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
    Advanced interpersonal skills

Hours of Work:
    Presently rotating 8 hour shifts
    Days

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms & conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.

Salary and benefits in accordance with the SAHO/Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan Collective Agreement governing the position and corresponding to education and previous experience.
