The Educational Assistant Instructor reports to the Program Coordinator and is responsible for the maintenance and delivery of the curriculum, supervision and evaluation of student performance. The Instructor will counsel students in regards to academic progress, maintain accurate records in accordance with SIAST and Northlands College requirements, and work as a team member with the Program Coordinator and other College staff. The candidate must possess a valid driver?s license and be willing to travel on gravel roads in all weather conditions
The minimum qualifications for this position are a bachelor of Education Degree with two year of recent/relevant experience, effective communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with adults in a cross-cultural educational setting, and effective instructional ability
