Description

The Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Technicians has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant in Regina.  

The successful candidate will possess a Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration and have a minimum of 10 years of administrative and related experience in an office support environment. A customer service perspective, excellent interpersonal / teamwork skills, attention to detail, and pride in a job well done are required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, In-Design, Publisher, and QuickBooks.
Have excellent oral and written communication skills, including proofreading skills, and typing accuracy.

Have superior organizational and time management skills and be detail oriented. The ability to balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines is critical.

Have the ability to maintain confidentiality concerning membership and financial files.
As part of our team you will be responsible for a diverse set of functions including, but not limited to: Typing/preparing reports, proposals, memos, letters, agendas, schedules, presentations, meeting minutes, updating the website, and planning events.
Liaising with staff members and assisting with project administration including correspondence, spreadsheets,invoicing, database lists, contracts, etc.  Reviewing documents (prior to distribution) to ensure accuracy.
Organizing and managing all aspects of filing and information retrieval related to project and client management need.
Covering front reception duties as needed.
Experience using office equipment.

This position requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
