Major Responsibilities

-Create an environment of positive associate engagement by actively promoting Sears Mission, Vision and Values, conducting regular communication meetings and having active recognition and associate development plans in place.

Provide leadership to sales team through clear communication of goals, providing on-going coaching/training by conducting timely, meaningful performance reviews. Participate in the recruitment and selection of new associates for designated areas and facilitate training as required.

Lead the day-to-day activities and results in designated department(s), including staffing requirements, achievement of sales plans, promotional activities, credit acquisitions and presentation standards.

Ensure all associates work in compliance with all laws and regulations and attend and complete all required health and safety training, report all accidents and take every precaution reasonable to ensure personal safety and the safety of others and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Secondary school diploma
College certificate in Business Administration or Marketing
A minimum of 6 months of previous work experience
Demonstrated selling skills and sales results

Demonstrated visual presentation skills

Demonstrated customer service skills

Knowledge of operating Point of Sale terminal

Demonstrated leadership skills

Demonstrated organizational skills
