Description

Summary:
- Responsible for administrative support including all aspects of secretarial, reception and clerical duties. Primary responsibilities include: provision of confidential and administrative assistance, create, compose and edit correspondence, document handling, assist with problem solving, researching and compiling data, preparing reports, summaries and responding to inquiries while ensuring compliance with agreements and policies.  
- Require a well-organized and results oriented individual to work closely with the Justice staff to ensure the effective administration of internal systems, meet deadlines, records management, policy development as well as internal and external communications.
- Facilitate all meeting and training logistics, including the coordination, preparation and distribution of materials, agendas, notifications and minutes and assist the Director of Justice as required
will organize meeting facilities, catering services, conference calls and will help coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements as well as provide assistance with preparation and processing of expenses and reporting.    

Qualifications:
-    Graduate of a recognized office administration program and a minimum of two year?s administrative experience; however, a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
-    Knowledge of Canadian Criminal Justice System and Restorative Justice Initiatives;
-    Experience working with First Nations with familiarity and respect for culture and traditions;
-    Willingness to provide assistance for Justice Committee Development which may include travel and occasional evenings;
-    Well-developed computer skills and experience with word processing, spreadsheets and database systems;
-    Punctual and dependable with an ability to work in a confidential environment;
-    Able to handle multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision;
-    Excellent oral, written, communication and organizational skills.
