Wendland Ag Services is now hiring a full-time
Business Agronomist in our Cut Knife location!
Wendland Ag is looking for a
highly motivated, team-oriented individual who can
work effectively in a fast paced and competitive
environment!
The focus of this individual will be to develop long-term partnerships with new and existing customers, as well as with suppliers and fellow Wendland Ag team members.
Your goal is to ensure the highest productivity to our customers while having a significant impact on crop production. Business growth and reaching out to new customers will be a major part of this position.
This position will require travel around the general area of Cut Knife.
Qualifications:
-Degree in Agriculture, Business or related field (e.g. Agronomy, Plant Science, Biological Science, Seed Science or Environmental Studies) or relevant experience.
-1 2 years experience in the agriculture industry as either a summer student or full-time employment.
-Ability to work effectively, independently and as part of a team.
-Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Strong organizational planning and time management skills.
-Computer aptitude is essential.
-Conducts themselves in a professional manner, and is able to keep information confidential.
-Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
-Agricultural industry sales experience is considered a definite asset.
-Valid Class 5 drivers license and good driving record is required.
