Temporary Term: Approximately 18 Months
JOB SUMMARY:
The employee in this classification is responsible to develop and implement work plan schedules, priorities and administrative procedures, including monitoring and controlling the flow of information and budgetary aspects for work teams and small to large corporate projects. This position is also responsible to monitor project and work progress, analyze problems, gather information and make recommendations on alternative solutions.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
The following qualification requirements will be posted in one, or any combination, of the following fields:
1)Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician Certificate, or equivalent
2)Interprovincial Journeyperson Industrial Instrument Technician Certificate, or equivalent
3)Interprovincial Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic-Millwright Certificate, or equivalent
4)Interprovincial Journeyperson Machinist Certificate, or equivalent
5)Interprovincial Journeyperson Welder, or equivalent
6)Second Class Power Engineer Certificate, or equialent
Five (5) years of related Journeyperson experience
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to identify problems and implement solutions
Excellent project management, time management, analytical, problem definition and problem solving skills
Ability to use MS Office and related software applications
Ability to organize and coordinate a number of diverse assignments among internal and external staff and contractors
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
Valid Class 5 drivers licence, as required by the position
