Description

This is a unique opportunity for an individual who wishes to control their own future with a growing and entrepreneurial minded mortgage lender. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing Moskowitz Capital Management's (MCM) Saskatchewan mortgage portfolio by assuming the direct responsibility for mortgage origination and support for underwriting as well as management of key relationships and accounts.

The successful candidate will be expected to be located in Saskatoon or Regina.

The compensation package will range from $85,000 to $125,000.

The successful candidate will embrace the opportunity to build upon MCMs strong track record of success, overseeing a large and diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and interim mortgage financing. To do this he/she will:

-  Build on MCM's existing mortgage lending business in Saskatchewan.
-  Strategically develop and maintain long-term relationships and referrals with key contacts including mortgage brokers, realtors, contractors, and the legal and accounting communities.

Skills and Expertise:
This position demands an independent self-starter with high entrepreneurial skills. Following completion of a brief training period in Toronto, the successful candidate will be expected to travel regularly throughout Saskatchewan functioning independently with minimal direct oversight.

The successful candidate will be measured on his/her ability to produce results, with the following qualifications:
-  Mortgage and / or commercial lending experience of at least 5 years
-  Undergraduate business degree or MBA
-  Strong hunter profile with a proven track record of business development success
-  Commitment to ethical conduct
-  Robust local contact base with mortgage brokers, builders, developers and property owners
-  Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex mortgage deals
-  Sound underwriting instincts
-  Impressive inter-personal and presentation skills
