We are looking for a kitchen steward to join our dynamic kitchen team at Wild Sage Kitchen & Bar at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre Regina.
Qualifications:
-Flexible & energetic with the ability to work under pressure
-Ability to work independently and follow directions
-Responsible and reliable
Job Description:
-Effectively operate the dishwashing machine and meet sanitation standards
-Ensure all dishes, pots and pans, etc. be cleaned on an ongoing basis to ensure enough operating stock
-Stock dishes, pots, pans, etc. in designated areas in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations
-Ensure all washed items are put away in an orderly and timely fashion to avoid accidents and breakage
-Wipe up all spills immediately and keep workstation neat, tidy, and organized at all times
-Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks will be assigned on a regular basis
-Other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chefs.
Qualifications:
-Previous stewarding experience an asset
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-WHIMIS Training will be required

-Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
-Ability to stand on one's feet for full shift
