Description

Essence Recruitment is working closely with Schulte Industries in its search for a Human Resources Manager, to be based in Englefeld, near Humboldt. The ideal candidate will be a strong employee advocate and have the ability to engage with all levels of staff, from production workers to executive management.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee activities relating to staffing, employee education and training, management development, labor relations, benefits administration, salary administration, and succession planning.
Manage employee immigration files and settlement services; coordinate with consultant on recruitment and selection to ensure immigration requirements are completed.
Develop and Monitor Human Resources Metrics, report findings and make recommendations to the management team.  
Oversee, maintain, and process completion of benefits, pension, personnel action, performance appraisal, and other documentation to ensure compliance to policy.
Handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances and conflicts; mediate difficult employee relations and/or other interactions as a neutral party.
Coach managers and supervisors on human resources and business-related issues.  
Consult with management to identify training needs and develop annual training budget; ensure adequate training of staff and employee compliance to organizations policies and practices.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or related field or a combination of education/experience.  
CHRP designation required or the ability to obtain within 2 years
8-10 years of progressive experience in human resources, preferably in a generalist, strategic, or management role.
