The Ideal Candidate:
Knowledge of office procedures and multi-line switchboard.
Proven record of courteous and professional customer service.
Basic understanding of debits and credits as they apply to financial accounting.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerpoint and MSOutlook.
Exceptional attention to detail and consistent tangible organizational abilities.
Experience in an industrial environment will be considered an asset.
The Job:
Answer phones, process mail (in and out) , process faxes, arrange for couriers, order and stock office supplies.
Maintain master files for filing of job travelers including scanning of all completed travellers, POs, job production reports etc.
Generate system reports for job review process.
Generate sales invoices and post based on manager approval.
File material certifications.
Travel arrangements for internal customers including flights and accommodation.
Additional responsibilities available as experience grows.

Competencies:

WORK EXPERIENCE AND JOB SKILLS:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a minimum of 2 years experience in an industrial setting preferably in a similar position.
ACADEMIC, TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE:
Qualified candidates will be have a minimum  Grade 12 education or equivalent.
Post Secondary education relevant to the position will be considered and asset.
