Description

We are currently taking applications for the position of Membership Service Representative at both of our Health, Fitness and Recreation Centres.  This person will report directly to Tara Longworth, Membership Service Manager and to Laura Jaworski, Membership Services Supervisor.

As a Membership Service Representative you are the face of our company. You are the first person that a member sees when they walk in the door and the last person they see when they leave. It is important that you serve all members and guests in excellence.

Some of the duties and tasks that will be performed include:

- Provide program and membership information in a positive and professional manner.
- Provide sales tours and invite prospective members to join.
- Strive to stay informed on all YMCA programs, services, special events, etc.
- Work consistently on day to day tasks throughout shift.
- Work consistently on washing, drying, folding and storing laundry to their proper locations.
- Work consistently on filing, copying and organizing forms as required.
- Actively work towards maintaining a neat, clean, safe and well organized area at all times.
- Be responsible for the security of cash; balance cash receipts and floats and process cash out of sales at the end of shift.
- Attend staff meetings, planning sessions and training events as required.
- Open the facility and/or close the facility when scheduled at the scheduled hours of operation.

This position will be a part-time position consisting of evening and weekend shifts: casual hours will also be available.
