Description

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) reports to the Director of Emergency Medical Services and when on site in a facility to the designated Supervisor/Charge Nurse. EMTs provide direct pre-hospital, emergency and patient care. They assist with the operations of the facilities they serve within the Sunrise Health Region. The only restriction that has been identified governing their participation in these departments is; No duties can restrict them from responding immediately to any ambulance calls. EMTs shall abide by the Sunrise Health Region and its Affiliates Mission, Vision,
Values, Policies and Procedures.

Required Qualifications:
     CMA accredited Pre-Hospital Care Program at the Primary Care Paramedic (PCP/EMT/ICP/EMT-A) level
     Clean Driver's Abstract
    Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at the PCP/EMT level
    Valid Class 4 drivers license

Hours of Work:
    Days, Evenings, Weekends & On-Call
